<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problems that a waste compression-caking machine providing a screw rotating by a driving means in a casing makes the waste jet out forward from an outlet just in solid together with explosions, and subsequently the solid content bulk-scatter forward together with a high-temperature gas. <P>SOLUTION: In the waste compression-caking machine which provides the screw (5) rotating by the driving means (3) in the casing (1), and is provided, on the casing, with a hopper (15) for supplying the waste (13) into the casing, the outlet (19) pushing out the compressed waste, and a heating means (21) for heating the waste in the casing, it is characterized in that a push/pull device (25) for moving the screw in a cross direction is provided.
