POLISHING METHOD FOR COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND LAPPING OIL COMPOSITE USED FOR FINISH POLISHING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing method for a composite material and a lapping oil composite used for finish polishing.

SOLUTION: In the polishing method for composite material composed of a plurality of different hardness materials, a main polishing is performed with a loose abrasive slurry composite containing diamond abrasive grains, and afterward a finish polishing is performed with lapping oil containing nano-carbon grain having a smaller grain diameter than the abrasive grain. The nano-carbon grain is to be a cluster diamond or a graphite cluster diamond.
