摘要 PURPOSE: A method for preparing a vanadium pentoxide-based zerogel compound and a method for preparing an electrode for lithium secondary battery by using the zerogel compound are provided, to obtain a metal-doped vanadium oxide-based material having high power, high energy density and high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The vanadium pentoxide-based zerogel compound is prepared by preparing a decavanadic acid solution; adding an effective amount of a metal to the solution before the gelation of the decavanadic acid solution is processed; and maturing the solution in an incubator to form a gel. Preferably the metal is at least one selected from the group consisting of Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Al, Ag and Mg. The electrode is prepared by placing the obtained zerogel compound on a current collector and drying it in vacuum. Preferably the vacuum drying is carried out by dip coating or spin coating.
