PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the contour processing speed is made lower since it takes a long time to compare the pattern of an object area with all correction patterns in order to determine whether the pattern of the object area and a correction pattern coincide with each other or not by comparison between them. SOLUTION: Four kinds of patterns, namely, a pattern having white pixels consecutively arranged in a horizontal line, a pattern having black pixels consecutively arranged in a horizontal line, a pattern having white pixels consecutively arranged in a vertical line, a pattern having black pixels consecutively arranged in a vertical line are prepared as correction determination patterns, and processing of comparison with correction patterns is omitted when the object area pattern coincides with one of the correction determination patterns.
