<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake, capable of starting separation of split bodies from each other earlier at the time of high liquid pressure, and improving output efficiency to input of a piston. <P>SOLUTION: This disc brake is provided with a push rod 44 that is axially parted to one end side split body 46 pressed by a pressure mechanism 32 disposed outside a bore 25 in a cylinder 18 and the other end side split body 45 provided with a female thread part 58, and a clutch member 66 engaged with the other end side split body 45 of the push rod 44, and applied to a piston 26 while pressed by the push rod 44 for pressing the piston 26.
