PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe wireless communication system that protects secret information, which should not be wiretapped, before ciphered communication against a 3rd person. SOLUTION: A wireless terminal 2 makes a communication range narrow (S12) to transmit authentication data (2nd secret information) to a wireless base station (S13), a wireless base station 1 makes a communication range narrow to transmit a cipher key (secret information) to the wireless terminal 2 (S17), and the secret information and 2nd secret information are exchanged at a short distance to protect the 1st secret information and 2nd secret information against a 3rd person.
