<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular door opening/closing device having improved durability while informing a person of the unlocked or locked state of a vehicular door to accurately recognize the state. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular door opening/closing device has a control means for recognizing the intention of a user to unlock or lock the vehicle door 6 and controlling the vehicular door 6 to be unlocked or locked. It comprises a door handle 2 for operating the opening/closing of the vehicular door 6, an operation detecting part 3 provided on the door handle 2 for detecting the operated state of the door handle 2 by the user, a light decoration part 40 provided to encircle the operation detecting part 3 for visibly identifying the operation detecting part 3 from the outside of the door handle 2 when actively operated by the user, and a light emission part 4 for emitting light from the light decoration part 40.
