摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission oil composition which can remarkably improve a frictional coefficient between metal belts or chains and pulleys, can maintain the high frictional coefficient over a long period, and does not cause the clogging of clutch disks. SOLUTION: This continuously variable transmission oil composition is characterized by compounding a boron-free mono type succinimide compound having a weight-average mol. wt. of 1,200 to 2,500 and/or a boron-free bistype succinimide compound having a weight-average mol. wt. of 1,700 to 2,500 in an amount of 0.5 to 5 mass % based on the whole composition, and one or more phosphorous compounds selected from phenyl phosphate, alkylphenyl phosphates, and alkylphenyl thiophosphates in an amount of 0.1 to 2 mass % into a lubricant base oil, and substantially not containing a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate.
