<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine monitoring system, a monitoring controller and a portable information terminal which enable the public reading of the monitoring information by designating various conditions in the public reading of the monitoring information using the portable information terminal. <P>SOLUTION: When the monitoring information acquisition menu is implemented at the HT, this enables the selection of the newest menu, the conditions designation menu and the full item menu. The conditions designation menu is selected and the conditions for the data desired to read publicly are inputted into input items on a conditions designation screen 503 displayed. When 'transmission' is selected toward a relay tag on the front of a pachinko game machine, the call wave containing the conditions designation information is transmitted and received by an R/W unit where the monitoring information is stored through the relay tag. The R/W unit extracts the data corresponding to the conditions designated from the monitoring information and the extracted data are returned carried on a reflected wave from the relay tag. The HT receives the reflected wave to display the data extracted on a display panel.
