<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shielding performance of a board-mounted connector. <P>SOLUTION: The board-mounted connector 10 comprises a connector housing 11 provided with a hood part 12 and a shielding case 20. A terminal 15 is projected from an innermost wall 12A of the connector housing 11, and a curve end 15C of the terminal 15 is connected with a circuit board P. The shielding case 20 comprises a square cylindrical case body 21 and a lid part 30 formed in an upper edge of an receiving opening 26 of the case body 21. Although the lid part 30 is in a receiving position in which the receiving opening 26 of the case body 21 is opened before inserted in the housing, it is bent about 90 degrees by pressing operation from above to close the receiving opening 26. Thereby, the whole except a fitting surface 11B of the connector housing 11 and the whole of the terminal 15 can be cover with the shielding case 20 to exert high shielding performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
