PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solder member, by which, when soldering a wire to a terminal, soldering is easily and securely conducted, and which exhibits sufficient electrical and mechanical performances, to provide a method for manufacturing the solder member, and to provide a method for soldering a wire. SOLUTION: A solder member 40 is, for example, composed of a hollow part 42, into which a core line 11 of a communication cable 10 is inserted, and a solder wall part 41, which forms a solder layer surrounding the periphery of the hollow part 42. Soldering is conducted by heating the core line 11 of the communication cable 10 while temporarily fixing the core line 11 to a terminal 51 in a state that the core line 11 is inserted in the hollow part 42 of the solder member 40.
