PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic generating apparatus capable of increasing an electric-generating capacity while inhibiting breakage of an electrode. SOLUTION: The electrostatic generating apparatus 1 includes: a substrate 21; current-collecting electrodes 22, 23 formed on a surface of the substrate 21; an electret film 12 formed to face the current-collecting electrodes 22, 23; and an insulating film 24 formed on a surface on a side which faces the electret film 12 of the current-collecting electrodes 22, 23.
