Zeolitic adsorption and separation of olefin isomers

<p>Separating cis- and trans-olefin isomers (pref. 6-18 C olefins) by adsorption on a zeolite contg. a Gp. IB or IIB metal cation (pref. silver) and having rigid 3-D networks and uniform pores of diameter 6-15 microns. The trans isomer is first desorbed by contacting with a non-polar desorbent, and then the cis isomer is desorbed using a more polar desorbent.</p>
