<p>The title cpds. are of formula (I):- where R = phenyl, p-Cl phenyl or cyclohexyl; R1 = H or CH3; R2 = OH (opt. esterified by lower acyl), OCOOC2H5 or -COOC2H5 but when R1 = H and R2 = COOC2H5, then R is not phenyl or p-Cl phenyl. The cpds. are prepd. by reaction of a substd. phenyl propyl halide with a substd. piperidine in a ketonic solvent.</p> |
