The spray guns are fed independently with a continuous supply of atomizing air and pulsed supply of the spray liq. Independently a supply of cooling air to prevent the temp. of the liq. reaching its b.pt. within the guns is fed to the gun jackets. Stop/regulation valves in the control cabinet are synchronized with the conveyor for the glass ware passing in succession in front of the guns. Interlaced with the liq. feed pulses are pulses of high press. air to limit the rate of build up of vapour press. of the sprayed liq. This gives uniform coating density. |
