The container is for transporting hot meals over moderate distances and retaining the heat therein. It is considered particularly suitable for take away meals. It comprises a lower bowl with a clip on lid. The former is circular in plan and contoured to form 3 compartments - one demi and the others quarter circles. Both components are of 2-ply plastics, the inner leaf being resistant and the outer porous.
