The precipitation procedure is esp. suitable for steam turbines with a large output, connected to a nuclear reactor. A fluid, consisting of steam and condensate, is circulated in a closed cycle in conduits. The conduits pass through a condenser, connected to the turbine, in which the fluid in the conduits is evaporated by heat exchange with the steam of the condenser; and through a cooling tower, in which the fluid is condensed by heat exchange with a cooling fluid. The circulating fluid is chosen from a group, the saturation pressure of which is at several atmosphere, when at a temp. of 20-100 deg.C, e.g., alcohol, ammonia, and fluorine contg. chlorinated hydrocarbon.
|
