Laying prestressing reinforcement around cylindrical bodies - using continuously adjustable gear between motor's output shaft and unwinding device

The machine is designed for laying a circulating prestressing reinforcement round a concrete cylindrical body, esp. where the stressing is achieved by means of a counterweight suspended on a movable cable pulley; besides these components it has a tension device for inlaying wire, a motor to generate relative rotary movement between this and the body, and a wire-unwinding device with braking media. The gear assembly mounted between the motor output shaft and the unwinder incorporates continuously controllable gearing connected to the unwinder via a reduction gear, and regulated by an element activated by the counterweight. The machine may be carried on one or more fixed platforms, with the motor turning the body; or on a carriage moving round the body.
