<p>The filter has a calculating unit which, from samples of signal amplitude Xo arriving at its input at a fixed rate of period T, calculates the magnitude yo from a given equation using various coefficients and various values of yo at given instants. The filter has in addition, n storage devices in which are respectively stored the values of yo. There are also n comparators, each of which is associated with a storage device. Each comparator receives at one input the value of yo from its storage device, and at the other input a fixed negative feedback step signal corresponding to a peak level of the filter output signal. The output signals of the comparators are used to control the passage of amplitude samples in the direction of the calculating unit.</p> |
