<p>1438046 Electric incandescent lamps FABRIQUES REUNIES DE LAMPES ELECTRIQUES 5 April 1974 [9 April 1973] 15132/74 Heading H1F An incandescent lamp having a power of from 1 to 20 watts and operating at less than 12 volts comprises an envelope formed from a tube of hard glass flattened at one end to form the pinch seal, a coiled filament within the envelope, current supply wires sealed in the pinch and made from electrically conductive material at least part of which has a coefficient of expansion compatible with that of the glass, and a gas filling at a pressure above 5 bars. The wires may consist of molybdenum or tungsten and may consist wholly or partly of the filament tails, and the gas filling is preferably krypton, xenon or argon at a pressure of 10 bars together with methyl bromide or methylene bromide at 0À1% partial pressure.</p> |
