The present invention provides a magnetic induction receptor protein, an active fragment thereof, a derivative thereof, and a homozygous composite of the magnetic induction receptor protein, and a heterozygous composite of the magnetic induction receptor protein and a cryptochrome protein. The present invention also provides methods for preparing the magnetic induction receptor protein, or the homozygous composite thereof or the heterozygous composite of the magnetic induction receptor protein and the cryptochrome protein.
