<p>1470819 Valves MOOG Inc 25 June 1974 [18 Oct 1973] 28075/74 Heading F2V In a valve assembly comprising two valve members actuable simultaneously by electromagnetic means for controlling the flow of fuel and oxidizer to the engine of a missile or space vehicle each closure member 58 (Fig. 7) has two parts for co-operating with respective seats 112, 118 in different planes and an internal passage which communicates the inlet to the inner one of said two parts such that fluid passes the two respective seats in opposite radial directions. The body of the assembly is made from planar blocks 13, 14, 15 (Fig. 7) which are screwed together. Each of the closure members is supported on the ends of a flapper 59 (Fig. 2) surrounded by and connected to a flexure tube member 64 which is pivotable by arms 70, 71 in the electromagnet 68 to actuate the valve. Filters are arranged in the two inlets.</p> |
