<p>The noise screening wall is for reduction of noise emanating from eg roads, railways or construction sites and is to be light in weight and made from readily interchangeable parts. It comprises square panel-shaped elements (2), fastened to carrier units (1). Each element incorporates a hollow unit (20-25), at least partially open on one side and filled with a sound-insulating substance (7). The hollow unit is pref made of aluminium, or other non-corroding metal. Its closed side may be bounded by a sheet metal piece (20), with its end faces formed by pieces (21, 22) doubly bent along two parallel edges and U-shaped sections (23) on the other two edges, and an enclosure for the partially open side.</p> |
