PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene terephthalate resin pellet capable of obtaining an improvement effect of a stable crystallization speed.SOLUTION: There are provided a polyethylene terephthalate resin pellet which has a polyethylene coating weight (A) of 2-45 mass ppb, where when a polyethylene coating weight (B) after the polyethylene terephthalate resin pellet has been washed is represented by (B), the polyethylene coating weight before and after washing satisfies expression (1): (A)-(B)≤2 mass ppb; and a method for producing the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
