PURPOSE:To instantly observe the detecting condition to promptly and easily accomplish the adjustment of a battery life display circuit by changing the intermittent signals, i.e., the so-called AC warning means into the continuous signals, i.e., the DC warning means in accordance with the set conditions of an external input terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a battery 101 is exhausted to have a lower level than the detected level of a battery life display circuit 20, a transmission gate TG6 generates intermittent signals of 32 Hz in synchronism with signals of one second and acts as AC warning means for flashing digital display means 102 for the warning purpose. When a voltage is impressed between main terminals VDD and VSS, the AND 14 of a warning signal interchanging circuit 5 is rendered conductive whereas ANDs 13 and 15 are rendered inconductive so that the output of the AND 15 is reduced to zero and so that the output of an OR takes a value of 1. At this time, the circuit 20 is supplied with continuous sampling signals, and the detecting portion 7 of the circuit 20 is operated by adjusting a variable resistor 103. When the output of a latch portion is increased from 0 to 1, the output of the AND 14 is also increased from 0 to 1 so that the output of the TG6 generates continuous signals, i.e., DC warning signals through an OR 11. Under this condition, the variable resistor 103 is fixed to finish the adjustment. |
