In an E.P. for collecting dusts from factory exhausting gas, which can be set for requiring in a small space, with a low operating voltage & power consumption as well as decreasing a harmful ozone, a floating-insulated dust collecting flat-plate electrode having U-shaped channel members at both ends on which a number of the same sharp needles were welded at an equal interval, was arranged in the center of each space between the grounded dust collecting electrodes in parallel with the gas flow.
