<p>The invention relates to the drying of a wet fibrous web in which the web whilst entrained by a felt belt passes through a first press nip formed between a dryer cylinder and a press row and a second press nip formed between the dryer cylinder and a second press row. In between the two press nips, the felt belt is cooled to condense water vapour in the felt and is pressed to extract the condensate.</p> |
