PURPOSE:To perform reliable recording by storing data, which is written to one magnetic disc device, into the other magnetic disc device simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:In the system where the same data is recorded on different magnetic disc devices duplicatively, data buffer 400 records write data, and data read/write of buffer 400 is controlled by a data buffer control circuit. Here, data to be written to one magnetic disc device, for example, 1 is recorded on buffer 400 simultaneously with the write of this data to device 1, and contents of buffer 400 are written to the other device 2 also. As a result, the same data is recorded on two devices 1 and 2, so that data can be recorded to perform reliable recording even if one magnetic disc device is faulty. |
