<p>PURPOSE:To simplify manufacture of curtain wall in the factory and also simplify the site work, by forming a rectangular space by opposite longitudinal frames erected on the outside of a building and a pair of upper and lower horizontal muntins, and applying a light transmitting plate on the outside of said reactangular space and placing a heat collecting member inside the rectangular space at the back of said light transmitting plate. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 6, 7 are formed by fixing beads 4, 5 respectively to end portions of longitudinal frames 1 and upper and lower horizontal muntins 2 defining a housing space, on the outdoor side thereof, in the manner that they are opened toward the inside of said housing space. In the grooves 6, 7, there is fitted a light transmitting plate 8 to cover the entire surface of said housing space, by use of tightening members 9 and caulking members 10. On the other hand, a heat collecting member 11 is constituted by heat collecting pipes 12 of superposed metal plates or the like disposed on the outdoor side and heat-insulating material 13 of glass wool or the like disposed at the back of pipes 12. Such a heat collecting member 11 is fitted into the housing space at the site by use of fixing metals 15 and positioning metals 16. In accordance with the above arrangement, essential parts of the apparatus can be prefabricated in the factory, so that the site work can be simplified considerably.</p> |
