The arrangement is used in domestic refrigerators where the delimiting surfaces of the normal space evaporator and the parts of the refrigerator which are filled with heat-insulating foam touch one another. The part of the refrigerator, where its cooling ribs (3) are connected and the inner chamber (4) is situated, is sealed with a delimitation (6). The cooling ribs (3) on the side of the insulating space are also sealed. The delimitation (6) consists of a surface-treated foil which is expediently coated with varnish. The other side of the foil, which is not coated with varnish, has a reinforcement band which adheres under pressure. In this manner, a watertight insulation of the evaporator of a refrigerator provided with cooling ribs is achieved, which acts reliably and can be used without particular outlay. <IMAGE>
