PURPOSE:To automatically support the mandrel bar, and to prevent the collision, breakage, etc., of two trucks to be stated below, by installing the device for driving the bar support truck to travel in a specified distance following to the travel of the thrust block truck. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of the large pulley 15b of the stand 5b is transmitted to the belt 14, and the large pulley 15a of the stand 5a rotates; hereby, the thrust block truck 2 for supporting the mandrel bar 1 makes forward and backward movement in respect of the center of the pass. By thus setting the traveling distance of the truck 3 so as to be proportional to the traveling distance of the truck 2 by the ratio of diameters of the large and small pulleys, two trucks 2, 3, are prevented from collision. Accordingly, the mandrel bar can be automatically supported without danger of collision of two trucks. |
