<p>A harness for a welder to support the hoses used for inert gas shielded welding operations consists of two shoulder pads which fit over the left and right shoulder and are joined by an adjustable strap. Belts or chains are attached to each pad to be slung through the armpits. The right pad carries an extension strap with a U-shaped swivelling bracket at the end. The hoses are laid into this bracket and, when gripped by the right hand, do not swing or obstruct the welding operation. This saves time and results in better welding quality.</p> |
