PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrostatic charge image development, which is excellent in a charging property and a good property of fog prevention and prevents contamination of members even in a case of a high-speed long-life machine.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing toner for electrostatic charge image development is a method of manufacturing negative charging toner which is toner base particles containing at least binder resin and colorant and has at least melamine resin particles deposited or fixed on a surface. In the method, when ratio Dv/Dn of the volume median diameter Dv to the number median diameter Dn of the toner is denoted as (A), and a standard deviation of a circular-equivalent diameter (volume basis) of the melamine resin particles is denoted as (B), (A) and (B) satisfy relational expression (1): B≤-41.7A+53.2. |
