<p>Seal coat comprises matrix of (1) non-woven material impregnated with cured mixt. of (2a) liquid epoxy resin and (2b) blocked polyisocyanate prepolymer and (3) (cyclo)aliphatic polyamine. Seal coat is formed on structures by spreading binding layer over structure, applying matrix of (1) on top, spreading layer of uncured mixt. and finally curing mixt. Binder compsn. is used to form seal coats for concrete works or metallic structures partic. orthotropic slabs, and traffic surfaces. Seal coat prevents potential flow of water under sealing surface, and at low temps. (-20 deg.C) exhibits elongation in excess of 50% (iso).</p> |
