PURPOSE:To detect easily and accurately the durability against impact in the jacket for magnetic disc made of a vinyl chloride sheet, by detecting the impact fatigue of the vinyl chloride sheet. CONSTITUTION:Vinyl chloride sheet test piece 4 is put on the upper end of cylindrical test piece table 1 where screwed part 2 is screwed to the outside circumferential face of the upper end part and photosensor 3 is incorporated, and test piece stopper 6 is screwed to part 2 to fix test piece 4. When the driving motor in operation box 13 is driven after adjusting the impact load by weight 12 fitted to impact rod 9, impact rod 9 is rocked vertically through rotation shaft 14 and lever 15 to apply impact to vinyl chloride sheet test piece 4 by steel ball 11 added to the tip repeatedly until cracks are generated. The number of impacts till the occurrence of cracks is read by counter 16 to measure the impact fatigue of test piece 4. |
