<p>PURPOSE:An inkjet recording ink with excellent jet and shelf stability, clarity, water resistance, etc., prepared by dispersing a fine pigment particle having average particle size in specified relation to average MW of a specified polymer, in an aqueous dispersion medium contg. said specified polymer. CONSTITUTION:A recording soln. is prepared by dispersing a fine pigment particle (all org. and inorg. pigments are usable) in an aqueous dispersion medium prepared by use of a polymer (e.g., a styrene-maleic acid copolymer) of MW 1,000-100,000, having both hydrophilic and hydrophobic structure portions as the first component and an aqueous liquid (e.g., a liquid mixture of water and diethylene glycol) as the second component. Here, the relation between average particle size of the pigment (D) (unit; mu) and average MW of the polymer (W) is controlled to satisfy the equation DX5X10<2=W, resulting in good dispersion spability and good driving frequency responsiveness during jet.</p> |
