PURPOSE:To form an input signal protecting circuit with high reliability without malfunction, by checking an input signal through the provision of a counter circuit which monitors the input of complete input waveform continuously not only at clock. CONSTITUTION:The circuit consists of a switch A of an exclusive OR gate which switches the polarity of an input signal, counter B which counts the time width of the output of the switch A with a clock signal and outputs pulse signals when the result of count reaches a prescribed number, and a toggle flip-flop which stores the counter output by taking the output T1 of the counter B as the input. Thus, the input signal is processed digitally, allowing a control circuit formed with LSIs to be made effective. |
