PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid filtration device capable of filtering a large amount of a processing object liquid with a simple structure, and capable of performing filtration operation over a long time, and a ballast water processing device using the same.SOLUTION: A liquid filtration device includes: a filter including a filtration membrane arranged in a cylindrical form; a case arranged to house the filter therein; a processing object liquid passage for supplying a processing object liquid into the cylinder of the filter; a filtrate passage for extracting a filtrate filtered by the filter to the outside of the case; and a drainage passage for extracting a processing object liquid without having been filtered by the filter to the outside from the inside of the cylinder of the filter. The liquid filtration device includes a processing object liquid nozzle arranged to jet the processing object liquid toward the inner surface of the filtration membrane of the filter from the processing object passage, and is structured such that the processing object liquid nozzle rotates around the cylinder axis of the filter. The filter is preferably a pleated filter. |
