PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic timepiece which is capable of executing its slow and quick adjustment easily and with high accuracy, by storing a time data in a register whenever time is corrected, operating and deciding its slow and quick extent, and automatically executing the slow and quick adjustment. CONSTITUTION:When time of an electronic timepiece is corrected, an electronic clock time immediately before correction, a real time to be corrected, and a previously corrected time are stored in registers A-C of an RAM114 through a pointer 113 responding to a program of an ROM111. In accordance with these stored contents, an operation of {(A)-(B)}/{(C)-(B)} is executed through an RAM outputting/inputting circuit 115, an accumulator 117, an operating circuit 116, etc., and a slow and quick extent 120 is calculated. (in the expression, (A)... denote the stored contents of the registers A...). This slow and quick extent is latched by a slow and quick circuit 106, a prescribrd slow and quick pulse of the circuit 106 is selected and applied to a frequency divider 102, and the slow and quick adjustment is executed automatically. According to this constitution, an electronic timepiece which is capable of executing the slow and quick adjustment easily and with high accuracy is obtained. |
