PURPOSE:To have a small-sized valve which assurcs installation in very narrow location in the piping by such a construction that opening and closing of a flow line is made by displacing a moving plate slidingly by means of magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnets 8 are so arranged that the N or S pole faces the periphery of a moving disc 4 and that adjoining magnets place opposite poles to each other alternately. Electric magnets 9 are so arranged that the pole of each will become opposite by the action of adjoining electric magnet, which has the other polarity toward the inside, when the electric magnet 9 is energized by applying current. Consequently, in case a flow line is held open when current is supplied to the electric magnet 9, the polarity will be inverted if the direction of the energizing current for the electric magnet 9 is reversed, and a repulsive force will be produced between permanent magnets 8 facing each other to generate attraction force between this and adjoining permanent magnet, and thereby the moving disc 4 will rotate 45 deg. and stop. Thus all the sector-shaped holes 6 in opened state will turn 45 deg. to be blocked thoroughly. |
