PURPOSE:To recognize patterns stably, by changing a reference level in accordance with a signal strength obtained by a sensor. CONSTITUTION:A signal A from the sensor is inputted to the - side of a comparator 2 through an amplifier 1, and the output of a D-A converter 8 is connected to the + side as a threshold level. The output of the comparator 2 is sampled at every constant period by a sampling circuit 3, and the output is inputted to a serial-parallel converting and picture memory control circuit 4 and is written in a picture memory 6 through a data selector 5. In this case, when a signal 15 is high, signals on lines 9, 10, and 11 are transferred to lines 12, 13, and 14; and when the signal 15 is low, signals on lines 9', 10', and 11' are transferred to lines 12, 13, and 14. |
