PURPOSE:To easily obtain necessary information by only selecting cartridges, by making this equipment in such a way that the main body has an operation processor and a keyboard for operation and the cartridge is provided with an indicating medium at the outer part and stores related information in the inner part. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 is configured in such a way that an operation processor 5 composed of a central processor 3 and an RAM 4 is connected to an operation key 7 through a key interface 6 and to a display control device 8. A cartridge 2 has an ROM 11 and an indicator 12, and connecting terminals 13 and 14 of the cartridge 2 are set so that they may be connected to connecting terminals 9 and 10 of the main body. The cartridge 2 is fitted to the main body 1 in such a way that the cartridge can be fitted and removed freely. The indicator 12 is changed variously depending on the condition of an indicating medium 20, and, for example, a light emission diode, liquid crystal, etc., are used for the indicator 12. When cartridges storing information regarding reilway or road network, cooking guides, etc., are prepared, necessary information can be obtained easily. |
