PURPOSE:To improve the workability of lead wire connection and reduce its work load by means of such an arrangement wherein one end of the connecting terminal of a flexible insulation substrate in which a lead wire is embedded is connected to a thermal head and the other end is connected by soldering, to a drive circuit substrate with its hole for positioning adjusted to a corresponding hole provided on the drive circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION:Connecting terminals 33, 34 are formed at both edges of a flexible cable 3 composed of a bendable insulation substrate 31 and a lead wire 32 embedded therein and a hole 35 for positioning is provided at its drive circuit substrate side. On a drive circuit substrate 1, holes 13 for positioning are provided at both edges of each group 12 of connecting terminals 11, and the hole 35 is adjusted to the hole 13 and they are fixed with a pin inserted and they are pressure connected by a reflow soldering machine. The connection of the connecting terminal 34 and the matrix wiring terminal of a thermal head 2 can be easily carried out because the space between terminals is large. |
