PURPOSE:To make PIO unit cards command and to reduce the card size, by giving the data editing function to an upper unit and constituting this function width one kind of PIO unit in the computer system where process data is handled. CONSTITUTION:The data editing function for status data, change data pulse input data, etc. is given to an upper bus receiver unit 5, and process input/output units 3 have only circuits which convert IC levels of process signal inputs I and transmit data editing information to the upper bus receiver unit 5, and thus, a digital input device and a pulse input device are realized only by changing data editing information with one kind of PIO unit 5. |
