The pacemaker comprises input circuits for the reception of signals both in the auricle and in the ventricle and means to increase the time after termination of which a stimulation pulse is delivered, when a proper action of the heart has been detected, and to cancel this hysteresis state when a proper action of the heart has not been detected, no cancellation of the hysteresis state being effected in the case of absence of a contraction generated by a natural auricle-to-ventricle transfer. |
