PURPOSE:To facilitate visual checking of indexing by installing the indexing mechanism at an upper position. CONSTITUTION:A driving wheel 21 supported by steel ball bearings 22, 22' is rotated by a motor through a worm shaft 5 to bring up a jacket 25. During this while, a support plate 29 comes up by a distance of the gap X, bringing the projected end of the support plate 29 against the projected bottom of the table 15, and then ascends further pushing the table 15 upward. During the rise X (gap), a clamp cylinder 34 is also pushed up together with the support plate 29, and a steel ball 18 is removed from its mating surface 18' of a central metal piece 17, releasing the table 15 from clamping. As the wheel 21 rotates to A- direction and a hook 31 is disengaged from the index groove 20 of a fixed coupling 19, the wheel 21 performs indexing by rotating the table 15 instead of pushing up the table 15. When the table 15 is indexed and the hook 31 is engaged with the index groove 20, the rotation of motor is reversed by the action of a switch 40, and the descent of the jack 25 to the lower position is confirmed by the action of a switch 44, thus completing the indexing operation. |
