PURPOSE:To extremely facilitate the crawling go-astern such as when entering a car into a garage by releasing a brake lock during the go-astern of the car by means of the action of a reverse switch detecting the reverse shift position of a speed changer. CONSTITUTION:A lock condition judging circuit 14 judges predetermined condition by means of input signals from various sensors and outputs a control signal to a self-hold circuit 12, which, on receiving this signal, activates a solenoid brake 10 to lock a foot brake. In order to release this brake lock, a release signal is fed from an OR gate 6 to the self-hold circuit 12. Signals from an acceleration switch and parking switch as well as a brake lock release signal from a reverse switch 18 are fed to this OR gate 6. This reverse switch 18 is turned on when the speed changer of the car is transferred to a reverse shift position. |
