PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate a user load on data transmission work having different areas to be processed for each destination.SOLUTION: A document management DB 3 stores a security level corresponding to each destination and mask area information indicative of an area of data corresponding to each security level to be masked. When image data to be transmitted is designated and a destination to transmit the image data is input, a mask area information determination unit 4 for security level confirmation refers to the document management DB 3 to confirm the security level corresponding to the input destination, and determines mask area information corresponding to the confirmed security level. An image data generator unit 5 generates image data in which an area indicated by the mask area information, determined on the designated image data, is masked. A communication unit 6 transmits the generated image data to the input destination. |
