PURPOSE:To improve a quality of a tyre through vulcanization of it under a normally constant condition, by a method wherein, in a mold vulcanizer, if a mold temperature at a starting time of vulcanization is lower than a set value, a vulcanizing time is regulated by instructing an extension of a vulcanizing time corresponding to a temperature difference. CONSTITUTION:A tyre 7 is sealed between top and bottom forces 3 and 6, a bladder 10 is inserted into the tyre 7, and a vulcanizing medium is fed in the bladder 10 through lines (a) and (b). The tyre 7 is heated from the inside, and simultaneously, it is heated from the outside through feed of steam to platens 2 and 5. An outer surface temperature of a mold is detected by a mold temperature detector. A correcting vulcanizing time for a temperature difference, produced in case an actual mold temperature at a time when a mold starts to be vulcanized is lower than a set value, is preliminarily set in a comparison computing element. If the actual temperature of the mold is lower than the set value, an instruction is provided to a vulcanizing programmer through computation of an extension time of vulcanization, and a given vulcanization is conducted through control of flow in and flow out of steam to and from said medium and platens. |
