<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the overheat of a resistor at high-speed recording and to eliminate the uneven density of the recording, by decreasing the number of print powers applied to a heating resistor element for thermal print corresponding to black information less than that corresponding to white information when the signal of one preceding scanning is black information. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal for one line's share is inputted from a picture signal input terminal 2, the picture signal is stored in a shift register 6 with a shift clock group 1 at a shit clock input terinal 15, and the picture signal of the preceding lines is stored in a shift register 5. The content of storage of the registers 5, 6 is fetched to a latch 7 with a latch pulse from a latch pulse input terminal 3, a driver 8 is driven with a signal at a recording timing signal input terminal 4, and the 1st print power is applied to a thermal head 9. The picture signal of the registers 5, 6 is read out at a shift clock group 2 at each relative dot, the signals are compared at an AND gate 10. When the signal of one preceding scanning is black information, the number of print pulses is decreases less than that of white information, the overheating of the head 9 is prevented and the uneven density of the recording is eliminated.</p> |
